Some nights, you just can’t be bothered cooking…I think that’s why the universe gave us smoothies. Amirite? They’re just the perfect combination of, well…anything you like…all in a cold, creamy, delicious drink. Which if you’re lucky, is also good for you. And guess what…this is your lucky day.
Southpaw’s Dinner Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 frozen banana
- Small handfull of ice
- 1 medjool date, seed removed
- 1 tbs maca powder
- 1 scoop vegan vanilla protein powder
- 1 tbs coconut oil
- 1 tbs tahini
- sprinkle of cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 100ml coconut water
- 100ml soy milk (or your preferred milk)
- Grain free granola & banana slices to top
Method
…do I even need to say? I think you’ve got this…chuck it all in a blender and whiz it up til smooth. You’re done!

I’ve topped mine with this AMAZING grain free granola I made the other day…i’ve been holding off on posting it because to be honest, I didn’t think it had come out right due to my tweaks. But I tried it again just now and OMG, it’s awesome! I’ll be sharing this one with you in the next few days 🙂
